No turnaround is long enough for a berth to dry

A Saturday changeover gives a few hours between one crew leaving and the next arriving. Cushions are not lifted, bases are not aired, and the boat goes back out with the moisture from the previous week still in the foam. Over a season the underside of every cushion in the fleet carries it.

Recommendation

15 mm across the fleet keeps one specification in stock and covers both forward and aft doubles. It also survives handling: crews lift and drop cushions hard, and the monofilament structure recovers rather than flattening.

Installation

Three steps, no tools

01
Lift the cushion

Remove the berth cushion and clear the board. No fasteners, no adhesive, nothing to drill.

02
Lay the fabric

Place the cut panel over the full berth area, running the length of the berth. Edges may be trimmed with scissors on board.

03
Replace and close

Set the cushion back on top. The gap works from the first night and stays open under sleeping load.
